Manchester, NH – The 12th annual Tower of Toys initiative collected approximately 1,100 unwrapped children’s gifts and raised more than $15,000.00 to benefit children and families served by local nonprofit organizations. Donations were formed into a toy-filled tower at the Atrium of the Beacon Building at 814 Elm Street, Manchester for a community open house and then distributed to families from local schools and churches. The monetary donations were split evenly and given to these organizations: Boys & Girls Club of Manchester, Dover Children’s Home, Friends of Aine, Friends of Forgotten Children, My Turn, Nashua Children’s Home, New Generation, Roca Kidz Club, Spaulding Academy & Family Services, Kiwanis – Walk with a Child, and Webster House.

“With heartfelt appreciation, the 12th annual Tower of Toys initiative celebrates the collective generosity that has made the holidays truly magical for New Hampshire children and families,” said Larry Thibodeau, senior partner, Flexecution, Inc., and Tower of Toys founder and sponsor. “Our mission has been embraced by the Greater Manchester community, and through the collection of 1,100 toys and over $15,000.00, we are honored to spread joy in the true spirit of the season.”

Many local individuals and organizations contributed to the cause this year, including Gaslight District Diner, Manchester Economic Development Office, Merrymaking on the West Merrimack, Orangetheory Fitness, Phaneuf Funeral Homes, Plodzik & Sanderson, Sarah Poire, and Waterford Place Apartments.

Furthermore, ten local restaurants, including Alley Cat Pizzeria, Campo Enoteca, The Foundry, Hooked Seafood Restaurant, Ignited Bar & Grill, Industry East, Stash Box, Shoppers Pub + Eatery, Piccola Ristorante Martini Bar, and XO Bistro teamed up to support Tower of Toys.
